Story is still good and keep you intrested but the one arc lasts very long, it's like dragging, it's good but waiting patiently is very hard, it's nowhere to end

Kiri is still my favorite female character ever, she’s so unruffled about everything. Granted, on reread, the story is not that good, but Kiri is till the vest and I’m so excited to know there’s a sequel. The original ending was rushed and lackluster, tbh.

Its ok to be a damsel in distress, but only for a period of time, not the whole story. Character need growth and development to be interesting and engaging. But Ruby stayed the same for more than 100 chapters already and its getting very obnoxious.

I have seen people with trauma and non of them is useless. They still go to work, take care of others, and carry on with their life. But i guess since this is just a comic, the author can just use trauma as an excuse to make a character not do anything but be a crying useless mess

Why do you think anyone should waste their time trying to convince you? Your opinion doesn’t actually matter, you’ve done nothing but double down, and you obviously have some weird beef with the story so any type of back and forth with you is pointless.

Buddy, for one, not everything has to be a matter of "usefulness." You're allowed to be loved without having a clear use just like you're able to practice hobbies without the need to sell the products. And in this story, regardless of whether ruby is "useful" in scenarios means nothing on writing quality. It literally just means you don't like it. I'm sorry you can't distinguish the two, but I hope you figure that out when you grow up.

For two, ruby has been useful. As an obvious example, even when she ran off, while izek thought he was rescuing her, he wasn't. She was able to work with the woodland monsters and hang out all chill. And comparing to your "real life" example, she has been carrying on with her life??? Lit the baseline plot is her finding a way to survive? Like huh????? What are you wanting her to do? Clichely develop a technology from her old life into this one to make a bunch of money and gain love because she's sooooo useful? Like what lolol that's dumb ah

For three, this story ain't even able usefulness. It's lit a character driven story. There aren't many "tasks" that need someone to be "useful" on. It's lit about overcoming trauma while reflecting the extent it can have on this character in a variety of scenarios.

This character is written to have trauma that's supposed to be largely unimaginable. She was abused, neglected, had an ED, battered, assaulted in not one but TWO lives. When she thought she escaped one, she was met with another. People's psyches don't just easy peasy bounce back and it's wild to assume that of anyone regardless.


When it comes to the people you "know" with trauma, I truly truly hope you don't project that their value is in their usefulness to you.

she was abused in not one but two different life times, she has such sever ptsd that even turtles can trigger her ptsd. i feel like you have never met someone with mental health issues. because she is surviving and coping in the only way she knows how. honestly i think this is a really good and realistic example of this type of trauma and how to over come it (for her specifically) because she has never been able to trust anyone in her two lives and that is where (for her) the root of the issue is.

also if you want a fl who isn't a "damsel", which i would argue that she isn't a damsel bc damsels don't typically try to help at all, and ruby IS fighting (in the only way she knows how) by acting and taking precautionary measures to keep herself safe. but anyways if you don't want a "damsel" then don't read this and go read any of the plethora of stories where the fl is a bad ass. but just know that receiving help isn't a bad thing

I agree with you. Like, do we not see these characters have more time without fighting for a single second? Like hello, this is getting too much. I get, cause the fight scenes are actually quite good, but with the chapters neverending and always fighting. I think this'll reach 1000 chapters, and they'll still be fighting to defeat the top 10's. Tiring to read the fights, we get it, but maybe this is just how its supposed to be.
