The story, the action, the relationship, the sex , it’s all perfection so far!!!! I want to give the authors a little kiss on the forehead
So the overall story is great. I don’t understand the ml personality and their relationship. I felt he was characterized in a way that didn’t make a lot of sense esp in relation to the mc. That’s just my opinion tho
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this. I just reread Payback for a second time. I’m noticed their relationship was a little confusing as well as Jay’s personality, like you said, especially towards the end when Yoohan was stabbed and ended up in the hospital. I was definitely not expecting him to react to Yoohan being hospitalized like that.
So true especially the hospital scene!!! Like the obsessive/controlling parts of his character could have worked a lot better with some edits. I like yoohan but jin is very unlikable to me
Yeah! Or, if they had just kept his character more consistent. Jay being upset at Yoohan for letting himself get hurt/not picking up his call and then slicing his wrist felt so out of character and inconsistent what we saw before. Jay’s not a green flag, but he also didn’t give the vibes of someone unstable, so it felt really off.
I like Yoohan a lot too and I like Jay sometimes, when he’s playful and sweet but his inconsistence was a huge drawback.
I thought it made sense tbh. Yoohan could've answered when Jay called while he was bleeding out. He ended up not answering bc he still wanted to die. He had so much guilt bc of his brother, that he didn't want Jay to come save him. Jay's reaction was bc he truly cares for Yoohan. He cut himself using Yoohans hands to show his sadness and anger that Yoohan still wanted to die and to make Yoohan feel guilty for hurting him. Guilt is what drives Yoohan. It felt to me like Jay was trying to use guilt to give Yoohan a reason to live instead of a reason to die. I could be wrong, but thats how I interpreted it.
You are correct, that is why jay did what he did why he did within the storyline, but I just don’t think that choice (and others) fit with how his character is developed and portrayed for most of the story.

I am so sad it will take so long for the second season but I liked the soft art style, the pacing, the sex is really tender and nice to see in an omegaverse.
I’ll probably finish this because I want to know the details of the ending not because I like it particularly. I feel like it’s an interesting start but becomes predictable at best and ridiculous at worst. I’m annoyed with both of them
I never read this before and just did recently . I want more !!! Some of the story telling felt a bit disjointed and mysterious to me, and I want more to flesh out the world building. I want more depth about schooling and the war and Barron and mono and just moooree
I loved this. They are toxic in love together and also enough redemption happens that I’m ok with it lol
I don’t really get why this is rated so high. It’s a mostly decent story (a little too convoluted for my tastes) the art is kinda mediocre or just bad in some places. Jinu and his love interest is a good addition to the story but the dog stuff is a little too literal and thus kinda just weird.
