Idk i love stories with imperfect characters… makes me think more deeply about human stuff like behavior, tendencies, and predispositions in life. Sometimes i like good, light-hearted stories too, but manhwas with characters like hanjun and yujae make it more engaging for me. Always feels like im doing character analysis every chapter

Is JJ in the wrong? - Yes, but that only consititutes like 5-10% of the problem. Admittedly, he lacked the effort to communicate effectively, but cmon ppl, does everything need to be spelled out for you? Especially if it’s painfully OBVIOUS that ur behavior is indeed problematic?? Like i’d get it if the behavior wasn’t explicitly problematic (e.g., good intentions but bad actions), yes that would need some good communication, but omygod literally everyone else aside from leo knows leo was treating jj like ass !! Leo my king where’s introspection?? Self-reflection?? He’s not even 14 anymore. There’s a certain level of maturity that comes as needed as you commit to a relationship. For JJ yes that means to be able to open up abt what bothers him and not bottling it all up and exploding out of nowhere, but for Leo?? Its literally to become a decent partner first. And for me the latter is a bigger problem bc the former is simply a mitigating effort to save an ALREADY failing relationship

You are so right omgg I think the author did not explain how JJ was feeling enough. It was way to sudden so it’s hard to sympathize, especially after he goes on and absolutely explodes on Leo who did not know he was feeling like that, I think the author failed a lot in conveying how JJ felt during the relationship. And also with Leo, some people need to be hit with reality to realize something, I suppose the author will explain his backstory later but I think they tried to force the breakup plot REALLY fast and it kinda ruined the characters depths.
