i started reading this when i saw the oneshot version on twitter years ago, and i finished reading it today. hgsn has been with me throughout my entire process of coming out and then moving away/cutting contact with my family. it's been just over a year since i ran away from my parents' and started living on my own. i'm so proud of the person i've come to be and it is so, so, so beautiful to see the person yoshiki became. i don't think i'll ever stop cherishing this manga. genuinely took a piece of my soul with it. this is a once-in-a-generation story. thank you mokumokuren for your brilliant talent and astounding empathy
