I think you are missing some plot points, we saw him handful of times, he is an important character in the story, we still don't know if his spirit truly passed away

No we see him from the MCs perspective from flashbacks. We never see him and his own plot/thoughts

he is still like a huge part in the plot. The whole point of this story is to find out about him through the ML. Its pretty obvious. I mean the ghost is based off him, literally. I’d say it’s pretty normal for people to care abt the dead guy. There is a reason we get these flashbacks about him and how he is mentioned in almost every chapter because he IS important. Theyre probably just putting themselves in his shoes. Like, a guy who was ignored by his crush only to die in while calling out to him, meanwhile his crush doesn’t even realize hes been replaced until something triggers him to wake up back to reality, eeesh…what a pos lmao ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

It’s beyond annoying seeing major plot developments happening and all everyone is worried about is how a dead guy who’s been dead since the very beginning was treated when he was alive. Move on,

Literally, they’re too busy complaining about the dead guy to even notice the development the MC is going through realizing how he’s fwb was and how he’s starting to now care for the ghost. Like my god move on already

We just saw a flashback with him being very much alive, just because character is dead it doesn't mean they are insignificant, let people feel whatever they want and just write about what you are actually enjoying in the plot

i think you're exaggerating a little bit,many couple do it with newborns in the room, they wont remember even a thing but i do think its kinda weird. Also ppl sleep with their babies in the same bed, maybe they dont put them on their belly but next to them, i think its really nice for bonding together. And pulling potato's cheek that hard wasnt necessary but it doesnt mean they are bad parents. Maybe they should change flat cuz its not safe for they baby at all.

You’re also right. It’s disgusting to have sex next to your child. They absolutely can remember it and exposes children to sexuality at that age can permanently damage them. Babies born to parents who are sexually active that much and are exposed to sexuality in that way can get traumatised, hold poor views about sexuality in general, and can grow to have mental health and personality disorders. There’s studies on this very topic. I did a whole paper on it for my child development course about how babies experience the world around them and how trauma sets in much more easily than you’d expect.

I do think you’re overreacting about the cheeks thing because everything is a learning curve and figuring out where the line is, is part of childhood. He apologised immediately and hugged his child so I don’t think that’s the big deal you think it is.

And to the person who said they won’t remember, do you know how babies learn to speak and say their first words? By hearing absolutely everything around them and repeating those words in their head until one day they can say those words and figure out how mouth and throat parts make sounds right. And the whole “babies won’t remember it!” Thing is false to begin with. For example, if a baby was in the room present for a murder, the chances of that baby growing into a psychopath or having some other personality disorder grows exponentially. Babies are easily influenced because they are blank slate sponges. Everything they witness becomes who they are. And there IS a condition in which a baby doesn’t have infantile amnesia. It may be rare but it happens. Just because synapses aren’t strong in babies because they require repetition, doesn’t mean that aren’t aware of their surroundings. They have to be. They are fragile and prone to dying and while they test out their new world, they need to REMEMBER what can kill them and what is good which is why a baby will look to its parents immediately after doing something as if to say “hey so this is right? I won’t die doing this??” So don’t excuse this behaviour. They used to think babies couldn’t feel pain and would perform open heart surgery on an awake and not numbed baby. Don’t be so sure about anything not be able to affect a baby. Please learn.

You realise that you can still HEAR while asleep right?? The baby was asleep in the womb and yet it could hear its parents voices and that’s how the baby can tell who is the parents by sound. And ignoring the fact the baby can totally hear and it can cause issues later on in life, what kind of person can get horny in the same room as their kid? Real question. And my logic still stands. The amniotic fluid acts as a muffle. The fetus is hearing through a giant water balloon essentially, has a massive echo chamber of the heart beat they are listening through and also have many things they are hearing through the mother at all times. A newborn is hearing all of that unfiltered.
