it’s been awhile since i last read melting point so i’m not so sure but iirc season one has less than 40 chapters but it did end on a promising note. so if you’re ok with reading something cute n lighthearted while also waiting for abt 6 months or so for the next season, i’d recommend reading it now

++ the author hasn’t confirmed anything regarding the number of volumes she’s planning on releasing but based on her note, i’d say maybe 3? since s2 will revolve mostly around mc and ml’s past/when they were in high school which wasn’t really fleshed out in the beginning
