I’ve been following this webcomic for a while and I’m always excited for new chapters but didn’t realize how many people were irked by the fl. I never really thought anything odd of it cause in no way did they ever infantilize her (other than when they’ve shown her as a literal child) and for once it was a smut that actually had a fl with normal proportions. I feel if she had huge boobs half of this discourse would go away cause I’ve seen other comics with fls that act and look waaay more immature and childish but have hyper-sexualized bodies and no one had complained. She’s soft spoken and sweet but she isn’t acting dumb or naive or anything like a child. She’s inexperienced sure but she grows and doesnt act flustered through each sex scene she develops and acts from experience if this was intentionally infantilizing they would make her oblivious every chance they get. She looks young sure but I doubt the artist’s intention was to make her look like a child but rather more innocent, huge doe eyes and huge forehead, and as an artist it’s kinda hard to do in such in art style and since she has a mark on her forehead they make her forehead huge which can add to the childlike appearance. If they really wanted to be creepy about it they would have had naos think she was kinda cute as a child and have his heart skip a beat or something. I can see where people can get uncomfortable and if it really does bother you that much then just don’t read it.
There are flash backs to when she was a child and honestly the story could do without that but I understand it’s part of naos internal conflict and moral standing but it’s not like he raised her, that would be dramatically different, I’d probably drop it if that were the case. She acts like an adult I believe and as someone who also looks way younger as an adult I don’t believe they’ve done this extremely distastefully. Now if her body was drawn that of a child I would also put this down but her only issue is literally her face and she appears to me as a young adult
both of them look young, its just the authors artstyle honestly. like its not like naos looks any older than 18-20 lol
I hope they start updating again because this was one of the only manwhas I really kept up with it’s soooo good. I will go ahead and re read it for the 4th time if they don’t hurry up!! As you can tell I’m getting desperate. Probably best straight smut I’ve ever read ngl.
