When i first watched it i was entirely obsessed, i think the reason it hits so hard is because bl fans rarely get anime where the story is so well developed on top of explicit smut, it really has its cake and eats it too with the amazing animation as the cherry on top.

They are indeed shitty, and if LMTD doesn't get enough readers they can and will cancel it and then the authors can't work on it for years, contractually (that's what happened to Woven and Soulwinder, for instance). So although I agree with you, I will still go give the series "official" views so that they don't get cancelled. And also support the authors through their patreons/others when I have money to spare ;)
