Scanlations have ultimately increased revenue for the manga industry, because they connect those works with the rest of the world. I read manga before, but now I read a lot more. However, it is our responsibility as readers to use these sites to find manga we love, and then to financially support the artists. I love this site because I only fall in love with maybe 1/20 mangas I start reading. I can't afford to buy 20 mangas for every one I enjoy. But you bet that I buy the ones I love, even if they aren't available in a language I can speak and read.
