bum seemed to enjoy it but i believe he was faking it for self preservation. the apples were extremely under in ripeness, so they were really sour (hence the bright red color of them as sangwoo points out).

The apple real taste is likely bitter since Sangwoo told about how excited her mom when eating the apple then end the sentences with "no sane person would've" . Probably the only one that find the apple to be the delicious are Sangwoo's mom and Bum only.
