(Get ready for a rant) Not exclusively about yaoi but I HATE when a story is criticized for "romanticized rape" when the rape is literally just a plot device. Like I get it, there's a lot of that stuff going around and being done wrong/not being taken seriously, but that doesn't mean that EVERY story that has rape in it is automatically a bad one t......   reply
