I momentarily dropped this a few chapters ago, when the frustrating part started, with the intention of letting it marinate a bit... just to come back to comments saying that not only are they still not communicating at all, but ALSO while claiming to love Tei the male lead has a whole harem and he's sleeping around??? I can understand the harem part because of political reasons but he apparently (according to the comments I saw) slept with at least one of them? I wouldn't be mad if it happened before they met (as in, if they met later in life) but I hate when semes claim to love the uke but still sleep around while ukes in love stay celibate until they're middle aged, which is clearly a double standard. Fuck everyone I'm out. (sorry for the rant I'm pissed off lmao, I'm avoiding this like the plague unless someone tells me that it was all a misunderstanding)

I think it was stated that there may not be a romance. It's more of a one-sided love story than mutual. The plot will focus more on the MC trying to manipulate and trick the ML by playing on the ML's one-sided feelings for the MC.
