I re-read this everytime I feel low. I dont know why. The metaphor in here is beautiful. The meaning of 'dont give away parts of yourself to make someone else happy' just resonates with me. I absolutly love these gorey and somewhat gross/disturbing types of stories with metaphors as they just appeal to me so much. Does anybody have other reccomendations like this?

This entire thing is so sweet I genuenly cried. At 2 am, I was sobbing. They're so adorable, it makes me wonder if I'll ever experience a love as pure as theirs. 1) From what I figured BOTH of them had been “monsters” or near that from the beginning:
uke has been feeding off of animals’ blood and the seme was called “A monster” by his own mother.
2) uke was a child in a science experiment which is hinted or said in one of the chapters I don’t really remember which one. That’s before he got adopted.
3) That facility was researching fallen meteorites. I think there were 2 meteorites the “Mother” one and the other one.
4) I think uke made contact with a meteorite inside the facility he was in and thus got “infected”.
5) The thing uke was talking to in his mind is possibly the “Mother” from the meteorite that is responsible for creating new creatures so their alien genome is not lost.
6) Both of them already had a predisposition to mutate into these tentacle beings that are aliens from outer space.
7) I have no idea WHY or HOW is seme so big and I don’t mean in a cliche way of saying like oh yeah he has to be big and strong. No. even for this work’s universe he is MASSIVE compared to other soldiers, which leads me to believe he was also part of those experiments at some point in his life.

I'm not very good at explaining but I was also a little bit lost :
PAST
Cheol was in a relationship with Minyoung, his uncle wanted to send him study abroad. At the same time, his little brother was being bullied, I don't know if Minyoung did something or was involved in some way, and someone took a weird pic of the little brother and threatened him with make it public. So the little brother wants to flee the country and he wants the uncle to send him instead of Cheol.
So one day, they gather together at home with the uncle to ask him to send the little brother instead of Cheol. But Cheol was like no way, I'm the one going abroad. His father was angry and hit him again. So he runs to Minyoung's house, at that moment Minyoung was not there, so his uncle puts him the bandage and Cheol takes a nap waiting for Minyoung to come home.
He comes home, his uncle tells him he can't do shit to save Cheol because he has no power and no money. Cheol wakes up and then Minyoung tells him he's going to murder his family. So Cheol is angry, even though his family is trash, he doesn't wish for them to disappear. So he returns returns home.
His little brother is frustrated, he sees Cheol coming back, they fight and he pushes him through the balcony.
PRESENT
Miny and Cheol are in a situationship, his brother is still abroad. Cheol grabs courage to tell his father about his divorce. So he goes home, his father is super angry and hits him with a baseball bat. Minyoung was there in the street at the same time stalking, Cheol sees him and gets angry and then he faints. Minyoung takes him home to heal his wounds. Minyoung was son angry that he goes to Cheol's family house and hits the father wounding his ear I think. Then, while Cheol was sleeping and feverish because of his wounds, Minyoung goes see the uncle. The uncle only knew that Cheol's father was wounded, he knew there was something going on between his nephew and Minyoung. In this reunion he understands. Then Minyoung, returns home and sees Cheol sleeping and crying so dreaming about the past maybe....
