I’m trying to remember a BL manhwa I read a while ago and it’s driving me insane. It took place in a school (pretty sure high school) and centered around an academic rivalry. The MC had dirty blonde hair, was poor, lived only with his hardworking mom, and was very smart but always placed second. The ML had black hair and was rich, cool, and nonchalant who was number one at everything. The rivalry felt mostly one-sided the MC was jealous/salty while the ML seemed amused, smug, and was constantly nearby borderline obsessive towards the MC. The romance was slow burn pretty sure was a shounen ai the art style wasn’t particularly flashy, and one scene I distinctly remember was the MC’s mom running into the ML’s very professional looking mom, highlighting the lifestyle contrast.
