They are made for each other ♡♡ love how both Yunshin and Mr Kang learnt from each other and changed their perspectives in life...at least a little, without becoming a different person.
And oh, Mr Kang , what a character! Damn i think he may be the only annoying bastard i will ever bow to. what a diva. He is THE Mr Kang. And i love how the story shows that Mr Kang's life was already...complete, maybe, from the start. Someone that grew up without knowing love, yet he forged a life that seemingly didn't need that. A life without love and without weakness. Kept up on a leash to a work he feels that he is being used, yet he is indebted to.
And it is quite poetic how the story starts with Ms Song pushing Yunshin into Kang's life, adding another link in the chain holding him d0wn, yet after a while Yunshin becomes the very freedom he seeks. Even if that means he will now have a weakness

Vol 1 is carefully crafted, with a nice pacing and an intimate feeling. The dialogues and characters feel real and chill.
Vol 2, while good, feels quite rocky. Surprising, yes. Since vol 1 had already established all the story needed to develop naturally, it felt weird to see such a cliché character as Adachi appearing as a plot device tool. The story did not need this push. It felt so out of place, and this uncomfy feeling continued thanks to his participacion through the whole volume, making the confession build-up eeh...still pretty, pretty good overall

I am just on chapter 2 and, after a seemingly ok ch 1, that turn was quite...vomitive.
MC's social anxiety on the first chapter is one of the best portrayals out there tbh, and what ML did was so fucking gross that it did take me out of the reading experience because of how u r supposed to be turned on by this new facet of his.
Anywaaaays Ch 3 does something to "fix" that. And it is like oh everything is actually fine and im exaggerating.
But it did remind me how this is actually goon material, with beautiful art, another commercial BL that can be good but also has to sell to an audience, aaaand what is better than a yandere ML right? ╮(￣▽￣)╭ welp time to turn off the neurons and activate the dih
Yeah, I can't get into stories like that, tbh. I had to pause at Ch 3 because it's even worse; after ML ADMITS to starting rumors to emotionally isolate MC, he dispels the rumors and just when MC thinks everything is okay, ML still shows his ugly side.
It's even worse that his coworkers are relying on someone else's testimony. They didn't get to know MC; they just listened to ML's rumors, similar to listening to ML saying those rumors are false--plus it's confusing because staff actually SAID that they heard the rumors from ML, but no one connects the dots that he may have started them.
Does it have BL?
not really, it's a similar vibe to "Kirei na Kimi ni Korosaretai" where the "BL" aspect is more of a sub-plot bait than anything. it's close to a fucked up bromance
