The moment he said 'you remind me of my deceased mother' I'm like damn, this sure is going the other way. At first I thought he would be a possible candidate as a male lead, now hahaha.. Kinda awkward to be seen as a mother for a kid around your age who insists that he likes you in a romantic way.
while my fav is baekhan, from a writers pov i would go with dowun because it seems so much more interesting to develop him. baek han is already such a sweetheart,, meanwhile dowun is a hot (manipulative) mess, his redemption would be so satisfying.
Lol I’d rather not have baehan’s and the mc’s feelings be used to develop Dowun’s character. Plus I lack empathy for the dude bc we’ve seen baekhan’s backstory but still know barely anything about Dowun. It doesn’t help that he is already so reserved.

Even without him as a love interest / or even if mc ends up with baekhan, I would like to see him fleshed out more. LIKE show us the background? his Past?? Show him suffering??? IDK overall, as a character, hes the most interesting one imo and hes the one moving the plot forward. I just wanna see what goes on in his head LOL

yep its your opinion and i wouldnt disagree tbh dowun isnt likeable at all LOL i just thought there is a lot more to explore about dowun since hes pretty much a blank slate right now (atleast his background/intentions is) so the author could mold it whichever way they wanted. my opinion on baekhan is positive while for dowun its mostly neutral i dont necessary hate/like him at this point, BUT i am most interested in his ch development, this could be in regards to his relationship with the mc OR without it.
it was interesting at first because it was the first reincarnated into a child webtoon i read, but the flaws are becoming glaringly obvious as the chs go on. there's practically no development and she still acts the same i feel sorry for everyone around her :(

i hated yona's father because of the glimpses we got from suwon's pov but this explains a lot. if yuhon does kill kashi later then its no wonder King Il would not show any favorability to their son. but also if you understand and agree with king il because of this, you also have to do the same to suwon because he killed king il out of revenge and because he was a bad king (like yuhon).
