Theory 1: MC's brother is a black snake (maybe a devil?) that tricked them both back in the past. Like a Romeo and Juliet situation. Either snake has grudge against ML or he just really love MC? MC died and got reincarnated but black snake found him first. Black snake made dad torture MC so he can be the knight saving armor.
ML will end up killing MC and then that's when he learns the truth. That MC didn't mean to kill him.
Theory 2 - MC is actually immortal too but lost his memories, the snake just fills his memory with tragic past. So he has been trapped under the snake for so long. So snake powers can have something to do with memories, illusion or mind control.
Theory 3 - the black snake didn't want MC to die but MC stabbed himself and fell off a clifff so snake lost his powers tryna revive him or get him to reincarnate. Maybe he can only reincarnate with ML alive so black snake revived ML. Only to have ML try to kill MC so that MC will hate him and black snake will come to rescue in the future. A weird elaborate plan I guess....
Nanjo is fucking weird too. I mean friend of your lover offer sex so he stops talking to your lover. He then say OK. Like is he ok in the head?? They're both fucked up in my opinion. They deserve each other.
One is very clearly more fucked up than the other. It's normal to blame the blackmailer instead of the person getting blackmailed.
Nanjo obviously has a hero complex and a big ego, but his faults don’t impact too negatively on the other characters.
Even despite making questionable choices, he still tries to be respectful, making excuses to distance himself and even at the end setting clear boundaries and giving forgiveness to Mok.
We don’t have his perspective currently, but considering the circumstances he is the most sane one here…
But Nanjo's actions did impact other people, first of all HIS LOVER. He entertained a crazy person. He didn't say he doesn't like threesomes to his boyfriend. I don't even know why you're defending him. He has no excuse. Like idk where his head at??? He cheated basically. Any rich ML could have found a way to make Wokyeon move away. But he made the weirdest choice.

From Nanjo’s perspective Mok was a crazy influence over the twink that was leading him towards bad choices. Nanjo having the hero complex he had thought that he could save the twink and agreed on taking his place.
It’s what his ego made him do.

EXACTLY. People wanna baby Nanjo so fucking badly cause he's the bottom but he's lowkey just as fucked up. Maybe if the story was through his POV it would make more sense for him to have all these shooters. But right now, Nanjo is just a lame pushover.
The guy beat up Mokyeon relentlessly, and Mokyeon wasn't even fighting back or resisting. So he was basically just beating up a body in explosive rage. Nanjo did what he ACCUSED Mokyeon of doing (causing bruises and wounds on someone that wasn't an act of consensual activity; i,e. all the abuse he assumed Mok was doing to Sunhwa).
Also, like you said, there is NO reason for him to have had this situationship with Mokyeon for the sake of Sunhwa. He's a man in his 30s with millions of dollars, there were thousands of fucking options before whatever the hell this was.
THAT GUY HAS BEEN BASICALLY RAPING HIM AND BLACKMAILING HIM, y'all are crazy. I'm enjoying the story as much as you guys, but defending Mokyeons behavior is actually fcking crazy. Being a pushover doesn't make you a bad person. It's like blaming an abuse victim for being abused. you guys must be like 14, cause wtf.

I never said all I saw was rape, but if you're telling me that the first time the two of them were alone wasn't rape in your eyes, you're crazy.
