They both do each other wrong,so why would it always be the ml chasing after the mc passionately and no trace of mutual anything even after 60 freaking chapters. If we are talking about this kind of toxic novels,at least in codename anastasia novel u can see them developing complicated but mutual feelings towards each other slowly,but here it looks one sided even after so many chapters and u will wonder why are u even reading this. Yeah that's it,but if u like this type of clueless pointless so called chasing arc,read it.
Seme definitely did wrong things but what did uke did wrong? Run away? Enlighten me. I think this story have a clear character assigned. Of course its gonna be one sided at first because how come uke gonna fall in love at seme suddenly?? That's totally gonna be stockholm syndrome if uke fall in love suddenly just bcuz seme was handsome & treat him kindly while under seme captive? The fact uke has his own conscience mean uke doesnt experience stockholm syndrome. Thats what we want! A strong mentally & physically uke who know the boundary of should and not should be done.
Talking about zhenya & taejoo mutual feelings? What mutual feeling?? Taejoo was afraid of zhenya and he just tolerating him because of survival. It takes a long time too for them to have mutual feelings. And i think codename anastasia was way one sided since zhenya the one controlling the relationship
Ok miss long response,I will give one as well cause I am free right now.as someone who reads tons of novel in breaks I even have forgotten what was I feeling while reading that novel,but I do remember the "uke" shooting ml's both legs and if his sister wasn't present he would've died. Oh please don't start about but he said keep paramedics etc,even the mc wasn't sure if he would've survived or not or don't say oh but he overheard ml wanting to kill him, if the ml shooted him then I would've said ml did wrong again but at the end it was mc with killing intent as well right?so he isn't a saint either.
I think that's what I meant at that time but whatever, I said don't read it if u don't like long one sided chasing arcs that a lot of people like ,it will get frustrating at some point like why is someone so obsessed with one person even after they ran away countless times,so reading that feels waste of time and energy. If u like this kind obviously read it. I read codename novel before by a broken english translation the chapters after manhwa stopped,it seemed like taejoo was having lots of emotional turmoil and complex emotions much more visible than this person. And that's the point of these "toxic" so called romance novels, don't pretend to be a saint talking about how u vouch for how strong the mc is etc while knowing what kind of story u are getting into. Never said he is weak or something,I like when things come to what they will eventually come to a little faster without repeating the same thing for 100 times.
