Omg after catching up to the latest chapters, I just have to say I LOVED the romance part. Like the author understood the mission of having tension, yearning, angst, and just EVERYTHINGGG! Like this man fell for Raviel for very valid reasons, shes one of the very, very few people that can actually understand what he's going through. And thanks to her he starts to think less of just throwing away his life uselessly. And not to mention its made very clear, Raviel isn't just some one off plot device for Confucius, thats his actual wife whom he loves very much. It doesn't take away from the story, it doesn't suddenly make him weak, or change his entire character. It works towards his growth as a person, and thats a beautiful thing when you're in a position where you could very easily fall into some dark thoughts and actions. (Which he has done)
So pretty much what I'll say is, don't count out this story b/c of the romance plot line, actually give it a chance and see how YOU feel about it. Cause this truly is a masterpiece of a story that I believe everyone should read.
I swear I saw Phileo and that one song started playing in my head, "we getting fucked tonight" cause LAWDDDDD THE WAY THAT MAN LOOKD IS A CRIMEEEE, AND THR WAY HES TREATUNG VARIA???? GURL VARIA GETTING GUCKRD TONIGHT, CAUSE THEY LOOKING REAL GOOD AND I NEED EM BOTH
Omg I was listening to X Room by Xdinary Heroes and its almost as if that song was made for this story bro. Like genuinely look up the lyrics and listen to the song guys, it fits so perfectly.
This arc could be the one that unleashes Kuon's identity since he is playing a character hiding his true self. I want them to flip the script and do a bait and switch with his movie character (Zeke)! I'm sure Cedric will be more shocked that Kyoko.
