Meh. A waste of cute art and characters. That’s really all this manga has going for it (and Tsuji. He’s adorable) but aside from that, there isn’t much substance. Both couples got together and had sex too quickly. I’d prefer it if they each got their own volume with better pacing :/ Also, Sawada’s reaction to Tsuji’s tutee having a crush on him was weird. Why get jealous and possessive? She’s literally a kid…

I went into this manga expecting romance, but what I got was a beautiful story of friendship, with gorgeous art and a focus on loneliness and the fear of being abandoned. Salamander by Ibuse Masuji was a big influence on it, and I love how its message is weaved into the story. It was hard not to sympathize with both Konatsu and Koyuki, even in the moments when communicating their thoughts would’ve helped resolve everything. The side characters were so loving and supportive, and it made me happy to see their bonds with the girls and each other grow.
At times, and I probably should’ve seen this coming, there was too much smut and not enough plot for me. It was still entertaining and funny though, and the characters are cute. I like Shiro’s dumb moments and his interactions with Zen and the other guys from the gang. But…Zen fell for him when they met and Shiro was little…? That was an odd choice for the mangaka to make. I’d like to know what their age difference is.
I just uploaded a new ch 2 because the original upload was weirdly cropped. Now you can save full pages to your albums and have a smoother reading experience :)
Omg what an emotional rollercoaster. I love a manga that makes me go from laughing to sobbing to melting because of how adorable the characters are. Ryo is a really silly, funny character who’s also so unbelievably cute that I’m not the least bit surprised that Miyoshi fell for him. Despite how things are between them when they’re reunited, they’re a perfect match. The story is rushed, which doesn’t shock me, since it’s so short, but I enjoyed every second of it. Spoiler: It even has a great plot twist that I didn’t expect.

Love the mangaka, but I didn’t love this manga as much as their other works, nor could I connect to the characters like I had with the ones they wrote about in the past. Because Aranami values logic over emotions, I had a hard time believing that his feelings for Hojo were changing. He barely even had cute, unguarded moments. Unlike Hojo, he’s just so…stiff. I could never get along with someone like that irl. He’d drive me crazy, and there were times where I felt that way about the character. It was still sweet and interesting though, and the art’s obviously great! But I did think it was a weird choice to mention Hojo’s refusal to drink several times, then exclude a backstory. As someone who doesn’t drink, I was curious.

This is even better than I expected and totally satisfied my fun coworkers BL craving that I seem to often have. It’s just such a good trope, and this one nailed it. Easily a favorite now. Wataru and Ayumu are both so funny. They already have great chemistry, since they start out as best friends, and I adore them.

This manga sets itself apart from the typical omegaverse story. There's a big focus on the characters themselves and how they overcome the difficulties of their second gender. Even with those difficulties, Hato and Kazumi are still able to give in to the feelings they have for each other, and it's done in such a healthy way. It's slow paced, sweet, and deserving of a second vol or at least a spin-off. I'd like to see how Hato's brother met his bf.

Wow…the art in this manga is beautiful. I’ve never read an omegaverse like it before. There’s so much love between Maurice and Simon, and it was touching to see them fight for each other throughout the story. Their story was too short though :/ as was the included one-shot. I would like to see more of that couple. The art alone brought my score up to an 8, but I’d enjoy it more if it wasn’t so rushed.

I forgot that it’s getting a second volume, so I read vol 1. Oops.
After rereading the parent story, I didn’t think I would like the spin-off more, but I did. Wataru’s behavior makes a lot of sense now. We love backstories and character development. From the start, Yugo, our closed-off baby, is so perfect for him. It’s sweet how getting closer to Wataru helped him talk to his classmates :’) but fck his parents. Anyway, getting to see more of Miki and Ikkei was a treat. I hope they go on a double date in vol 2…and that Yugo gets to have sex lol since it’s clear that he wants it.

It’s cute, but it was too rushed for me to feel any connection to Shiomi and Sano. The way things developed between them wasn’t very believable, since it happened so quickly and Sano just got out of a relationship. I also would’ve liked that to be touched on more. His experience with love is completely glossed over, as is their growth as a couple once they’re together. I was hopeful, since it’s a cop age gap story (and I love Boku no Omawarisan) but it sadly fell short of my expectations. Still a sweet read though, and I really like the art.

If it was longer and didn’t have a rushed ending, I would give it a 10. Easily one of the cutest friends to lovers stories I’ve read. I loved seeing Keita slowly fall for Tomoya and come to terms with his feelings. Even the flashback to when they met as kids had me in tears. They’re adorable. Spoiler: Though it was rushed, I’m glad we got a time skip. I needed confirmation that they’re together after graduation
