I don't understand why are people surprised about the top being shitty when he was like that from the beginning and there was no reason for him to change. He's giving sociopath vibes. He wasn't always like that but he changed after mc left him and he basically feels nothing now. His feeling towards mc is obsession mixed with love/hate because of their relationship in school. He seems like a shell of a person right now but I think he could go back to normal if he got into a healthy relationship. Idk why that first failed relationship fucked him up so bad but that's how it is and tbh if they just talked it out and resolved the misunderstanding, 90% of this shit wouldn't have happened. I believe he could "heal" and then he would be a decent bf but we can't forget all that he did do far. Mc deserves a nice, gentle top that would make him feel good cause that's not sex. It's just abuse. I get that he kind of hates mc still, I feel really bad for him. He's so cute :(
All that being said, I love the story because I like toxic semes.
