I find it very annoying when authors try to input romance in stories that don’t need it. For example this one; there’s like no use for Krista or wtv her name is to like rein. It’s pointless and she’s fairly annoying and doesn’t know boundaries or how to stay in her own business…. Frustrating to even read when she’s in the back being dramatic and pushing her obstacles on the mc like how is it his fault that he’s better at magic than you. Be fr dawg

Not trying to sound rude, but this plot is lowkey played out. It always makes me mad when the FL goes the mile and beyond for some man just to get betrayed in the end. If she had been smart then none of this would’ve happened
She was a naive princess who was manipulated from childhood what else was she supposed to do. Why do y’all expect someone who was abused to suddenly gain enlightenment and instead of blaming the abusers you blame the victim
So how was I supposed to know she was abused? Also I’m not blaming her, I’m just saying she should’ve been smarter about it
Saying she should have been smarter while getting abused is absolutely blaming her and wdym you didn’t know she was abused are you reading with your eyes closed .
I literally only read ch 1 then realized how dumb this is. I mean if she’s acting dumb then it’s only a matter of time before she feels the consequences of it. She’s a so-called princess yet lacks any sense of pride and is oblivious. Might as well say she’s the same as ordinary people.
You're complaining about the plot being played out, but you also asked 'how was I supposed to know she was abused?' You would know if you actually read past Chapter 1 lol.
I think she's actually smart even before the regression, judging from how much accomplishment she gained just to make Jason became the emperor, the only thing that different this time is she knew her real allies now, it's just that she's jaded to see who's the real enemy back then
So you based your judgement on one chapter . Some of y’all never actually wrote your book reports for school and it shows
Yes, I based it off of one ch. Don’t get your knackers in a bunch lol. Also don’t project your actions onto me, it’s a manga not a book boo
*knickers
This has me on the floor laughing omfg- it's so real. I haven't read this particular series yet but this comment makes me want to.
"don't project your actions" When it's you telling on yourself that you didn't read shit girl please hahahaha
Unemployed TikTok weirdos when they hear a new therapy buzz word core.
Girl it’s a freaking manga. It literally sums it up on the first ch. How did I tell on myself when I literally said I based it off one chapter? You’re arguing just to argue. If you have an actual point about the manga, make it instead of reaching for a response out of your ass.
Calling someone an unemployed TikTok weirdo because you’re projecting is funny You clearly understood what I meant, you just don’t like people having different opinions. If you disagree, address the actual point instead of throwing random insults lmao. This is how I know you’re still in like the 6th grade.
Y’all are mad over a manga I said what I said.if you disagree, keep it moving instead of reaching and throwing insults
You can’t have an opinion on a topic you know nothing about. Which is why I brought up the book report. No matter how in tune with literature you think you are basing an opinion based on less than 0.1% of something is a shallow opinion and should not be taken seriously.
Obviously you think I’m throwing around random insults when you don’t have the capacity to discern criticism and deconstruct your argument. I merely pointed out the flaw in your “opinion” and then you stated “how was I supposed to know” which clearly means you do know your opinion is shallow but you are too hardheaded to accept criticism and reflect. You are clearly the one in 6th grade or even lower with your paltry level of comprehension.
You not comprehending how abuse works tracks. "Y'all are mad over a manga" no, we're pointing out your poor reading comprehension skills. There are plenty of other mangas that write abuse poorly and people would happily agree with you. Or even where they are grown adult FLs who aren't even being abused and are genuinely just frustratingly oblivious while being told they're smart.
However in this novel the princess was genuinely "sheltered" to the point of her own initial downfall. Think of a child who's homeschooled and told to only obey adults or those with power. That makes it prime for those children to eventually get taken advantage of in the future.
If you're upset with people literally explaining things to you - might I add no one is even mad nor are they harassing you - then don't write comments.
You're fucking fragile.
This is what I’ve been trying to say thank you very much.
I never said I had a fully informed opinion on the entire manga. I read one chapter and formed an opinion about that chapter and my initial impression of the series. There’s a difference between saying “this is bad” as an absolute judgment of the entire manga and saying “based on what I’ve read, I don’t like it.”
You’re right that one chapter isn’t enough to understand the entire story, its themes, character development, or how the writing develops later on. But that doesn’t mean I suddenly have no right to have an opinion about what I actually read. If the manga needs dozens of chapters before its qualities become apparent, then you can explain that rather than acting as though having an incomplete opinion is inherently invalid.
And your “book report” comparison doesn’t really prove your point. Someone who reads one chapter of a book obviously can’t write a comprehensive report about the entire book, but they can still say they disliked the chapter they read or that it didn’t interest them. The problem would only be pretending that one chapter gives them complete knowledge of the entire work.
So if your criticism is that my opinion is limited because I only read one chapter, that’s fair. If your claim is that I’m incapable of having any opinion whatsoever because I haven’t finished the manga, that’s where your argument falls apart.
I read ONE chapter, not the entire manga, so obviously I’m judging it based on what I actually read. If the later chapters explain that she was sheltered and that’s why she acts the way she does, cool—that’s context I literally didn’t have.
You can explain that without acting like you just solved a murder case because I misunderstood a character. I’m allowed to have a first impression, and you’re allowed to disagree with it. Calling me “fragile” because I don’t immediately agree with you doesn’t make your argument any stronger. Ps. You sound more upset than me
The literacy here is non-existent that is you telling on yourself that you judged the whole series with just 1 chapter, the first chapter just shows the premise of the series it's not a summary . It's like saying Skittles taste so bad because you just ate 1 flavor out of a pack and you didn't like it Your opinion doesn't weight a thing because you don't even know wtf you're talking about because you don't know anything about who you're criticizing.
This is hilariously pathetic. You make a comment on a public platform, get upset when people interact with that comment, and now are trying to play victim. You sound young. I'm calling you fragile because not because of your first impression but because of your reactions. You're still arguing in the comments and literally banking on the fact that you only read one chapter. We know. You won't let us forget. That still doesn't mean other people aren't going to point out that your original statement was victim blaming and YOU NEVER EVEN MENTIONED IN THE ORIGINAL STATEMENT YOU READ ONE CHAPTER. How heavy is that shovel you're holding? You dug pretty deep, you can stop now.
I said I was giving my opinion based on what I had actually read. There’s a difference between saying “this is what I think based on chapter one” and pretending I know how the entire manga plays out. If later chapters change the context, great that doesn’t invalidate an opinion based on what I had read. You can disagree with my take without pretending I claimed something I didn’t.
You’re proving my point by turning a disagreement over a fictional story into a personal attack. I openly acknowledged that I had only read one chapter, so there was never any attempt to hide that or present my opinion as a judgment of the entire manga. You’re the one repeatedly bringing up that fact as though it somehow makes my opinion invalid. If the later chapters provide context that changes how the character’s actions should be interpreted, then explain that context. Calling me “pathetic,” “fragile,” or saying I’m “playing victim” doesn’t actually address what I said. People add a new word to their vocabulary and just run wild with it, I see.
I still stand by what I originally said, and none of these comments have changed my mind. I’ve already explained my point, and I’m not interested in going back and forth about it (been like 2 days, not trying to revolve my life around manga unlike some). If you keep replying, you’ll just be responding to yourself because I’m not continuing this conversation. Let me go “play victim” somewhere else since apparently having an opinion is too much for y’all.
They arguing with you but you ain’t wrong boo. Her stupidity literally got her kids killed. Then she get reincarnated and all of sudden the smartest bitch around until the ml come around. Letting someone play in your face one time ain’t crazy, 2x okay I can understand , but any after you’re willing to be stupid
So... do you know how abuse works or are you just confident in talking out of your ass? Because it seems more like the latter.
You know what someone said something similar to this. As op said she went far and wide for A MAN. If she was this smart the whole time her children would not been killed. She did a whole 180 which means she could have prevented her children from being killed but only changed after the fact.
I’m sorry that you and the fl are two peas in a pod and I hope whomever abused you gets what’s coming to them.
Wild assumption to make, I don't have to experience this type of abuse to feel empathy for it. Like holy shit ther literacy crisis is strong. So again, if we're going based on the knowledge of the first panel. Young children within the court are ripe to be abused and at risk of assassination, power structures are constantly shifting and she is constantly in danger. Now take it she's no where near her own home, her husband has already groomed her at this point. You can see the signs. (Yes adults can also be groomed) Think love bombing and then trapping a person in the place where everyone who holds power is already at your beck and call - now think of the FL who's in unfamiliar territory.
Just ask next time you don't understand something.
I’m currently reading the whole manga so unlike op my opinion is not based on chapter one. This has nothing to do with literary crisis. My assumption was based on the fact that you are opposing another’s opinion and interpretation of this FICTIONAL book so strongly. It’s unbelievable how you are struggling so hard to understand it when 2 truths can remain at once. Yes she was abused but she was dumb enough to allow her kids to get murdered. Should I say it in Spanish or perhaps I could explain it to you like I would a 2 year old? Mommy sucks, she should’ve put the children first
Also I don’t know how you’re finding this much time to talk but gurl stfu about this book fr, I’m trying to read and you’re tweaking about a comment. I’ll just delete the mf and make it again
