You really wont be able to understand a lot of this if you dont either read passion or read a full summary of it. This work is an add on to that one, so it cant really be consumed stand alone. If i were to explain everything wed be here a while
Theres some stuff you can skip, but passion sets up the world and xinlu is very important and a lot of stuff happens with him for the whole time taeui is at unhrdo. You can skip a lot of the stuff in between when he leaves unhrdo and when he arrives on the island. But you definitely need to read the stuff during unhrdo and the island to understand raga to its full extent.

Most of Season 1 of Passion and like 100+ chapters of where he met Taeui again and the current 130-135. I think these are the chapters Xinlu appeared. After UNHRDO part of Passion, Xinlu is barely shown. so yeah. Just getting tidbits of info can help you understand Xinlu
For anyone how wondering to start reading this my advice is don't! Despite how popular is it and how the drawing here is really something the story is unbalanced many many chapters in suffering but 5 about their love and sweet moments.. So while reading it build up hating for jaekyung but not of his wrongdoing is addressed later, also kim dan character out of world he's forgiven to the point of stupidity , and naturally we readers looking through the real life lens know that that is impossible for a relationship like this to maintain and for me the last chapter seem like a teenager imagination of ending this story, I guess author here can't write love that's why we see time skip
I think the author wants to take very long break but was planning to end the story in less than 10 chapters so rather then taking loong break and come back with 6-8 chapter she decided to wrap it up quickly now and continue it later with side stories, and by long break i thing till December or maybe next year.. So see you guys in 2027

wdym it's ending next chapter?!?... Like the only pictures of them being lovely dovey is on that commercial photo cards or calendars? Like dan is still addressing him as mr. Joo..?! And there's still some awkward moment and miscommunication between them!?!! ... My guess is next chapter we'll have some time skip maybe month or two then start by showing the state of jaekyung on mma maybe he quit? Or continue? And then vist to granny who miraculously still alive?, and then shot or two of their everyday life and it'll end of some type of celebration then slight smut.. And that's very rush and wrapping things up too quickly. I personally think that the author here write this one to emphasize the suffering, hurting, toxic relationship rather then the love and actuall character development so it's 95% building misunderstanding and suffering and 5% fluff and like really lovely moments(maybe only when they went to Disneyland). Idk It's just very disappointing..
