I don't know much but this happened in yang illwo and I manhwa apparently dindin uploaded over kang byeol and they were fighting in the comments talking bout some dindin minions and after that some random new account started posting over kang again despite them saying not to and comments were saying that they were probably the minions or something you can read the whole thing on kang byeol's profile it's at the very top of the comments even jujucat was involved calling out dindin

Wow! That’s messy! It seems like uploaders are really scrapping with each other all over. Even Jujucat got dragged in?! It’s kind of wild to me there’s so many amazing series going without updates and all these uploaders are piling over each other for a handful of comics. Like someone please update aproximal guide or paper scraps ╥﹏╥

i’d never pick up someone’s work if the og tl still active, unless it’s already mixed translator or no update for like 1 week...

a lot of ppl asked me to continue yang ilwoo, and i thought it’d be chill. my own projects get picked up too when i’m busy and i never made it a big deal… so i thought same thing would happen here. guess not

yet you still picked up my work, despite the updates being consistent, ignored the dm I sent, the comment I posted clearly saying I'm going to post the chapter soon... and now you act like you'd never do something like that *sigh*

and about your case, i picked up unsleep cz the og tl’s been inactive and a bunch of ppl already touched it, so i thought it was fair game. plus you literally said in your note anyone could continue it sooo…

i’m not that free to read every comment either, so yeah my bad i didn’t see yours. but fr you could’ve just dm’d me instead of deleting stuff and commenting everywhere... i would’ve just stopped, no need to make it this messy

so next time, if you don’t want anyone else picking it up, just say you’re claiming unsleep and don’t want others uploading over you. don’t say “until someone more experienced will take this on, I'll do my best” on your note, then switch up and start commenting everywhere like i’m the bad one T_T

I started commenting everywhere BECAUSE a week passed and I got no reply to my dm, obviously I'd be frustrated when half a chapter is done and then I see someone else suddenly uploading it... twice. I'm not acting like you're bad, per se, it just feels like you could've handled it differently, not saying the same isn't true for me, too but still... if you hadn't done it on other occasions, people wouldn't have started complaining about you. and just to make it clear, it just so happens for me to read works you work on, I didn't just go for your throat specifically, I don't have time for that ╮(￣▽￣)╭

i’m actually pretty easy about this, if you weren’t comfortable, i wouldn’t have continued. like i said, i only pick things up when the og tl is inactive, or when multiple translators are already working on it, or it’s been days with no updates. i tried unsleep cause i saw like 5 ppl already translating it n you even wrote in your note that you wouldn’t mind if others continued it, so i really thought it was okay

again, i’m really sorry. there really wasn’t any message on my side, and i won’t continue unsleep. sorry for making you uncomfortable. also, if you want, i'll unpublish my chapter for unsleep :)

I don't want to sound like a hypocrite, and you're right about my notes, my only, sole 'problem' was that you caught me with chapters half finished and it was frustrating. I wouldn't have minded it one bit if the dm had gone through, if you replied and said it's 'yours'. that's really it. I definitely could've handled it better on my end, too and I should've tried to reach out again. Sorry about that Σ( ￣□￣||)

I really like both your translations and it seems like both of you are really genuine dedicated translators so I couldn’t understand how it went so wrong. I’m really happy I got to see a resolution <3

Hahaha this is what I had in mind since the beginning, I just couldn't catch dindin. I didn't want to start a fight or for anything to get messy so I'm glad we worked it out... even if it was in the public comments (⌒▽⌒)
