Yuta played Tetsu and Seunghyun. That was PROBABLY his plan from the beginning. Why PROBABLY?
- Because Seunghyun seems to be the impulsive guy here, who killed Tetsu almost three times now EVEN THO Yuta warned him about Kujo family and that he should not mess with Tetsu and that family. He still did and I don’t think it was planned by Yuta (Seunghyun = Impulsive, Yuta = Intelligent), but he saved Seunghyun ass from the Kujo family by taking him down before he could reach Tetsu (no fatal wound - Yuta could‘ve killed Seunghyun).
[I can not say how much was planned and how much was improvised in last minute],
BUT this was the perfect moment to let Seunghyun feel the feeling of betrayal Yuta went through 10 Years ago.
- Possibility that it’s a test too (not unlikely), to see how Seunghyun will react. I remember that he wanted Seunghyun to resent him without any place for redemption (first chapter in Seunghyuns home). Most likely, because that’s all he sees in Seunghyun now (or believes in, no wonder tho).
Note: Can’t wait to see how Yuta will react when he hears about that green haired guy who lied to Seunghun back then (we still haven’t seen Yutas POV about what that lie Yuta was told 10 Years ago, we also don’t know how how ended up in the Golden Pavilion and WHY exactly the previous Kujo leader had an eye on him (Yuta could’ve been from a powerful family too)
- THE PROMISE between Yuta and Tetsu: I’m quite sure he played Tetsu by telling him "I will make sure you get the stamp and everything you always wanted from your dad you despised so“ - a lie, just to mess and terrify him.
Tetsu underestimates everything and everyone (naive), this experience should give him a reality check (maybe don’t mess with Seunghyun and you re also getting hell back from Yuta soon)
….. Let me also make this clear: Giving Tetsu the stamp for real would ruin everything Yuta worked for (soooo- it makes no sense). And I also don’t believe he will take the benefits of their engagement from Seunghyun and I can not see him doing smth with the Casino to get revenge either.
Yuta is rather playing with emotional value then objective value when it comes to “Seunghyun“. He will handle the Yakuza/Mafia families differently tho (mastermind).
