I was rereading this and just noticed the art style change.. did anyone else pick up on this??
don’t get me wrong its more defined/realistic now but smt abt the old one had more charm
we all thought it was a natural style change. But then figured out Yangma has been trying to change her art style(or may i say she was forced to) because of the plagiarism accusations from the author of Shutline(so far what I've understood from Yangma's statement regarding the whole situation). I’ve read shutline before and never once thought they were similar.. sure if you actively look for similarities you’d find some but I think you can say that for a lot of stories

I was totally thrown off by kyou's accusations and behaviour. If every bl author thought like them then more than 50% of bls wouldn't even exist rn lmao considering there are so many stories with similar themes, settings, vibes and even character designs. I'm super glad that most of the fans didn't buy those baseless accusations, called out workplace and targeted bullying and showed full support towards Yangma. I hope she overcomes all of these negativity and continues to become a successful artist

I thought author is just upping his/her game but didn't think something thing like this happened. That was such a d1ck.move on kyous part accusing another author plagiarism!
This is insane. I honestly don't see the similarities at all with their art or plot. One major thing I noticed, shutlines art is very cold with no life in it (they use a lot of gray shading is what I mean. While flashlights has a lot of warm colors (yellows, blush, etc)
The only thing I do see similar is the words at the very bottom, the font is the same. That's about it tho. The plot ain't remotely similar. It's a shame these artists have to put others down despite knowing the struggles they all have to go through to get where they are..
Anyway Yangma new art style looks so good, and is far better than shutlines.

That's why I prefer to just read from just one team. It's not (just) about the quality, but the names are different for all translation teams. I would prefer to just give myself less of a headache.
