I read the story im not stupid i understand his trauma and how it affects his decisions and all i dont care. hes a piece of shit. You can be traumatized and still have a sense of humanity and empathy for other people, he is a pathetic excuse. There is not one moment of this that showed growth from him he’s horribly selfish and unempathetic the whole way through. Reading this was genuinely like a horror story watching a kind person dedicate their entire life to a piece of trash that did not give back 1% of what he got unless it convenienced himself. And then ran away. And named his son after him, the absolute nerve, 0 care for taeyang at all just his own feelings, and how sad HE is for running away. I get it, i love imperfect characters, but after all this there was 0 substantial growth from him at all and he just gets what he wants in the end, as always. Just a horrifically irritatingly written character. Although when he woke up from the first lay, and taeyang pulled the bf card i was so 2nd hand embarrassed i had to take a break, but then that pos called his lifelong friend a one night stand

With how you’re describing the guy you would think he would raped somebody oh wait if he did and had “character development” you would probably like his character. His character is the most realistic character I have read in a bl. I don’t get how you expect a child, a literal child to go through that amount of verbal and physical abuse and grow up to be the kindest person known to mankind.
Def not the most realistic character in bl by a long shot. Hes rlly shallow in retrospect even from a writing stand point, the writing is so flawed and unenjoyable bc rlly he has such little depth. It just makes him irritating instead of a good imperfect character, hes not a fun to read douche cus the writings bland.
I dont rlly need him to have character development to enjoy him as imperfect but the comic’s ending expects you to treat it as if he has and he hasnt, thats another issue i have with it. Also where did u get that id enjoy a rapist if they had character developement? Thats an insane pull from ur ass lol.
