This is why esp in relationships of any kind ppl shouldn’t be doing shiii that makes the other(s) develop a dependency on you cuzz then not only do you feel used, but because the other person is physically dependant on you for something it will jeopardize a lot of shii in their lives cuzz they can’t do some shii without you. Not only does this create so much pressure and stress on both the parties, but it can also create an unequal power dynamic where the person with the dependency basically becomes (for lack of a better word) a slave to the person they are dependent on (think drug dependency but your drug is a person, Juhyeok being an omega makes this true on so many levels for him). This is also vice versa cuzz the person with the dependency can abuse the person they are dependent on and basically chain them (i.e “if you leave me I”ll kill myself” or parents who exploit their kids financially). And considering Juhyeok is an omega with internalized omegaphobia and is aware that he exists in a society that treats and classifies omegas as second class citizens only good for being bred/pleasuring the “dominant” class, an “I love you” from said person from the “dominant” class isn’t going to fix things for him overnight.
