i checked the author's xiaohongshu account, and they revealed that the reason for the cancellation of the comic was because the ratings in the CN platform were poor.
though she no longer posts on the platform, she has been sporadically releasing new chapters purely out of love for her work and has assured that a proper ending will be given.
