finished this in another sight and I had to express my opinion here bc this is just so peak, I'll try to avoid giving so much spoilers but... The writing, the characters, the development, the relatable experiences?? It's so peak I could cry. I thought people were just glazing taehwan's character development but no, I'd say he was one of the most well written character along with yeonwu—at first it looked like his chasing arc/character development was just "light" or mild for people to call it the best chasing arc in BL but no there was MORE—it was beautiful. it wasn't just the "chasing arc" that made the 2nd couple more appealing—their story dove into so much relatable traumas that lgbtq+ people and some kids went through, their relationship was so in depth their misunderstandings and struggles genuinely made me cry(as a picky reader who barely cries from BLs) although the 1st couple were adorable, it's so understandable why people would love the 2nd couple more.
