im 20 chapters in and tbh i get that the fl has trauma from previous life, but bro in this life the ML has done nothing wrong, and even in the previous life he went to war and got shell-shocked, like, i really cant stand to read this, i don't get why the ML is being treated poorly by the author, the author is treating the story like it's silly and funny that the ML is the way he is. It pisses me off to no end, its like that one "stepmother" manga where the ML's name is sable, and every goddamn time someone wrongs him or theres a conflict, the author tries to frame it as his fault, when IN BOTH THIS AND THAT, ITS REALLY NOT HIS FAULT
pisses me off, her whole plan is backwards... like you can "buy" him and such and like, I can come up with an idea ab how if it was "bought" him then "released" him, the nobles would just find him again and force him into servitude again so you can't do that, but bro, why is she just telling him "yeah im a slave owner, and youre my slave" "yeah lets go to a party with all of your previous masters" like... WHAT??? literally no fucking critical thinking happening. just tell him "i bought you bc this was pitiful, i dont actually want to own you, but I fear if I break our contract, you will just be tortured again, you can do anything you want while youre a guest in this house" LIKE WHY IS SHE ACTUALLY TREATING HIM LIKE A SLAVE???
I also wanted to comment and say that in the chapters around 10-16 that because the ML was being so goddamn confident and self assured and loves being praised so much (SO GODDAMN CHILDISH), I was like:
"narcissist: check. crazy: check. violent: check?, yeah this guy has all the traits of a serial killer, dudes basically bundy, lock him up its this one right here" LMAOOOO
