Imagine how traumatizing it is to entrust your body to the one you love most only to find out it wasn't them at all. You'd feel so much confusion and after that a realization that you had unknowingly given yourself to another person. That kind of feeling would make the victim look less at the fact that they were raped and more on the fact that they cheated on their partner. Instead of being a victim they believe they're a perpetrator.
