An alright story written by a seemingly inexperienced author. I can see where they were trying to go with it, and it's a good story idea, the execution is just flawed.

The characters were all bland, and the story was rushed where it shouldn't have been, and slow in the most annoying of ways. For example, the characters just randomly fell in love, mc randomly changed her mind and resolve to be queen. I understand why, but like the author spent too little time developing her relationship with the previous queen that her love and understanding of her just feels forced?

I wish the author took more time developing relationships and emotions in it. They could have delved further into their childhoods to bring us a better understanding on why the prince and mc were traumatized. I feel like they just told us they were mistreated, and just left it at that, didn't really give us the chance to get to know any of the characters.

But, it's okay I guess. It was a pretty quick read and if you're an isekai hoe like me, it's enough to binge read. I didn't get absolutely tired of it until chapter 78, that's when it really became insufferable

Came back to re read this, and I used to ship them, and still do.

At the end of the day, both of them were horrible people, and they deserved to be punished, but not in the way they were. A mental facility would have been best.

Songwoo, for starters. He went through a lot, and at such a young age. He was delt a horrible hand, and had no way to cope with it. He then began venting these bottled emotions onto random people and murdering them(not that I condone this, just that he could have been helped) then, bum showed up, he abused bum, he raped bum, and tortured him, but does everyone forget how bum changed him? He became better, all he needed was one extra push into therapy, and he could have lived a normal life and understood the issues with his and his abusers behaviors. However, his paranoia got the best of him. This is why I feel bad for him, he had his hope, but his mental health got the best of him and led him down the road to insanity and inevitably his death.

Bum on the other hand, while he was a stalker, stalking is not in any way a reasonable cause for the abuse sungwoo put him through. And this clearly fucled his mind up, leading to him murdering and also lowkey going insane. He had a horrible childhood similarly, but his stalker mindset was his downfall

However I do believe they both really loved eachother, and made eachother better. I just wish they could have had a normal healthy relationship with communication and understanding in eachother. This story is really tragic, and I wish some people could understand that this is what a lot of people are going through. It never makes it okay to murder or harm another, but some people really just need help before they reach that point where they become a danger to themselves or others.

sangwoo had no love for bum at all lmao

At the end of the day, it's subjective, but I believe he did love bum. This is why he didn't kill bum and instead killed the police officer to vent his anger. Plus him calling out to bum when he was about to die.

Once again, it's subjective and you can argue that you think it was simply obsession or a projection of his mom, but I disagree

I don't understand why you guys are calling her dense. If you think about it logically, if someone were thrown into a book they've read, they wouldnt view the characters as "real". They would see the world as a script and she wishes to try and follow that script. At the end of the day, that's how she's seeing the world. She's not being dense, she's being realistic. She wants to go home and she believes she has to follow the script she read in the story in order to do so. She doesn't view them as real people yet, and honestly how can you blame her? I prefer her acting like this over the mcs who just run away from their original lives, and just instantly move on.

Finally someone said it!! Unpopular opinion, but I actually really love the MC, if I got isekai’ed into a world and heard the words, “play ur part and u can maybe go home,” I would do the same thing. I think a lot of people calling her dense forget about the the words she heard at the beginning. She’s really realistic compared to other MCs who literally just forget about their old lives right off the bat, totally agree on that point too. There’s also people calling her dense for not realizing Jade had gone back in time, but then again, from her perspective all of them are just fictional characters. I, too, would also brush off all the hints since, if I was in that situation, I’d expect the story to end the exact same way as it did in the original.

    Yes!
That’s exactly why I keep reading this, not only is it a more realistic approach to this scenario but it’s also different take on the trapped in a novel cliche which- I think at least - makes it fun to read (● ̄(エ) ̄●)

Fr, like she also misses her family too, and just by looking at what she's doing, honestly I would've done it too.

People will keep saying it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Not everyone remembers the logic and words that she was told in chapter one that continue to push her to act the way she does.

THANK YOU! Like really, should I ever get isekaied, of course I would do everything I can to get back. You all want her to chose a book character over her family? Because that is what Jade is for her: a book character. She is not dense at all, she has a goal and will not be turned away from it (well maybe now because she did live a long time with them so they are starting to feel real to her).

The plot seems rushed when they could add suspense, and they drag it out when they shouldn't. Theres no character development, and the romance??? Forced and nonexistent. I feel like the author got a fanfic from wattpad and turned it into a comic
