yo... no cap, Taeui is one of the most self-aware, intuitive, and assertive (as in being a good communicator (not perfectly, but u get what i mean)) MCs out there, i love to see that. he reminds me of skylar. and let's not forget about the fact that he's the most sane and normal character in the story too, hahaha. fooking great writing, i tell u.
I highly recommend checking out the novel because he’s truly amazing there, the manhwa adaptation has cut out a lots of his inner dialogues and details about him but he’s honestly sooo underrated in terms of writing I personally find him more well written than ilay

Finally someone who can appreciate his character, what people don’t realise is that taeui is as inhuman as ilay, not in the ‘monster’ sense but he’s very much been dehumanised his whole life by his entire environment no one ever acknowledging him as a person but rather as just some kind of ‘luck’ that benefits his brother (who is btw also an empty shell that’s being used) but when ilay someone who quite literally has everything money, status, connections,…etc and isn’t in need of any of that special ‘luck’ came in the picture and saw taeui for who he was and treated him differently than others for the first time in his life taeui felt special and that’s exactly how he caught feelings for ilay from the very start but couldn’t realise it so in conclusion i would say that both of them constantly humanise each other in their own ways wich is incredibly written

Wow I didn’t even think of it that way & yea the whole lucky charm thing was so annoying. I see a lot of ppl kinda hate on their relationship or call Taeui a bird when it’s like I don’t think he is I can tell a lot of readers only read surface level & become confused as to why the characters like each other when it’s literally written there.

I hope ppl don’t get disappointed at the end of the season because it’s definitely not going to end on a good note, I mean it’s the ending of the first novel only there are still other sequels after this where they both live happily together I’m not sure if they’re gonna get adapted any time sooner tho
