All I remember is the main character works in some office(?) and I think one of the chapters he's going home and comes upon some kind of event with ppl gathered around it. He pushes through the crowd and watches this Horse Race(??) And something happens on the track.
Before anyone can say ANYTHING, Incest is sexual activity or marriage between people who are closely related by blood, adoption, or marriage. It is not love; this is romanticizing a form of ABUSE.
I can't read it anymore, which is a bummer, as the beginning was nice and had potential. I felt that there were a LOT of plot holes in this. It's one of the reasons I dropped this at ch. 70.
I could tell this could have been a Sib-romance by the beginning, but I had just hoped this was a mistake on the author's part, with a slight lack of comprehension with Sibling Dymamic’s. I was wrong.
I really started losing hope by ch. 46-47.5. During the succession ‘arc’. When the FL summoned Vassago, it never went into more depth about the transaction; was it a one-time thing or not? (If it did later in the chapters after I dropped it, it's still not valid bc there was no foreshadowing for it.) The war arc, or whatever it is, seems forced, like they wanted a war for the ‘tension’ of a war
of it but couldn’t deliver.
So to sum this up b4 it gets longer: Emotional “incest” Between (Adopted)Sister and the brother (blood-related to the family), Plot holes galore, lack of Grit, infantilizing FL(Gross), Forced Romance.
