HEY COMRADE!!! There's a few of us and fewer older uke manga stock so i cherish them so much. i dislike age gap whether it's bl or het but i don't feel that much strongly in yaoi since im mostly only after the smut and i have learned to tolerate it.
OFC i enjoy younger ukes more but i learned to set aside preferences to be able to appreciate mangas outside mine.

I also love it, when the uke (or the girl, if it's het manga) is older, which is a rare find, but I am fine with the reverse. I have different hard limits tho: no polyamory, no mangas that are based on a love triangle and no unnecessaryly assholish seme. I want happy stories, goshdarnit! Whenever i see a cover with three people being all over eachother, I skip it even before reading the summary, no matter how popular and good it is. I just can't stand love triangles

Same here. Knowing someone is gonna get hurt in the end just makes me sad. Plus we read manga for getting a break from real life so yes I agree on having some happy stories.

I got curious what was going on (I like drama in the comment section, it's entertaining) ao I looked it up and no, that's not why you were attacked.
You got angry because one person didn't like the art and you did it in a disrespectful and insulting way ("Or they just like rapey and cliche omegaverse or other yaoi with gOoD aRt.").
Complaining about people who have a different opinion is problematic (trolls excluded) but topping it off by trying to invalidate their opinion by making fun of their presumed reading choices makes things worse.
You weren't attacked because you defended the art, you were attacked because you freaked out over one comment.

My my I came off really rude didn't I.. Oof if only they would have told me clearly. I normally see a lot of people talking about the art on many yaois so my frustration just piled up and I took it out on there maybe lol. I didn't even want to come off like that- sigh.
