I am so frustrated with how things are turning out!! Why can't they respect hyesung's boundaries? This betrayal hurts so fcking much. He already suffered so much and now this??? I just want him to be happy. I saw a post that really put my thoughts into words so I'm pasting it here:

I'm sorry but I can't... before Byul, I loved Hyesung first, and the way the author keeps doing him dirty just rubs me the wrong way. It’s like they brought back old trauma that was already resolved just to stir drama and push Byul closer to the ML. Because guess what happens right after Byul and Hyesung’s argument? Drum roll... Byul runs straight to the ML, gets comforted, and they even kiss. Like seriously? All that emotional buildup, all that pain, just so it could be used as a prop for a romance scene. Hyesung’s feelings keep getting brushed aside, and it’s so obvious he’s being sacrificed for the sake of the new generation’s storyline. It’s just messy writing, lazy even, and I’m tired of seeing him treated like collateral damage for someone else’s character growth.
This is exactly why I don’t like generational series like Boruto and the rest. The original characters always end up getting hurt or reduced to side notes just so the new ones can shine.
