I hope those who hate (?) Satoko remembers that's she's just what, 15? 16? She's literally teenager who is just waiting for her death and getting married, returning favor to her father who sacrificed a lot for her. Personally, if I will be in her shoes, I would be worse than her. You can't expect her to do things beyond her understanding in the world, her brain isn't even fully mature yet. Her moral reasoning and decision-making just actually fits her age.
