There is this one manga that I’m trying to remember but I can’t. I can barely even remember the synopsis but a girl met a demon?devil?ghost? I think they may have formed a contract? Not too sure. The title might have something to do with yellow or chocolate or food in general. I remember saving this manga like a year or two ago and it came to me again this week and I can’t get it out of my head. Not sweet spooky darling or lemon soda. I know there not much to go off but if anyone even if it’s vague or out of reach, pls drop anything that they might think it might be?? All help appreciated.

No it’s not. I remember the art style to be more like the manhua ‘unlucky mansion’.

Prime examples of why I hate so many of the daughter-father webtoons out there. Usually there’s a brother or sibling that has been neglected by the father/doesn’t have a good relation with the parent and then the new child mc arrives they compete over who the new child prefers etc without the father ever treating the other child with the same affection he does now to the mc. Raising them without love and affection, and the competing for affection from the mc ticks me off so bad.
It’s really interesting to see a manhwa where the other perspective is shown esp from a more female oriented perspective.
I’m just wary of the white haired child, she the exact copy paste mc from every single father-daughter manhwa out there.
In this case I very much dislike the mother much more than the father because the father at least had the responsibility of taking care of the north and its territories. On the other hand, despite how well done the relationship between the mother and mc (how you can love and hate a person at the same time) I really dislike the mother, her bias had limited every opportunity for the mc and she is the reason why the relationship between the siblings had soured. At least the father gave her gifts after finding out the truth (bar in hell). On the other hand, the mother’s responsibility, given the nature of the society so far shown in the manhwa, was to raise the kids and take care of the household. In which she failed in both. She’s lucky she’s dead because mc would have dropped her quicker than a sack of hot potatoes.
I do like our mc, the way she’s decided to live for herself and let go of the ties she held onto one-sidedly. She’s not a kind or nice person and not a misguided villainess nor innocent fl which is again interesting to see in these type of manhwa.
She has more goals than the typical ‘escape the family’ or ‘survive the family’ or ‘marry the Duke/CP’ (well ig she will become the Duke of the north) A lot more capable than the usual mcs. Although she does have more than the typical cheat of just knowing the future but also has the strong body and prodigious abilities of the og first son but then again in a lot of typical mahwas some how the mc is a reincarnation of a goodness who made the world which always gave me the ick cus what kinda plot is that? Or even a divine saintess or spirit mage who holds the contact to the last dragon or divine spirit whatever
My review upto chapter 30 so opinion may change depending on further reading.
