Did he just install the empathy, kindness and affection human updates wtf. Total flip on the story, not complaining but damn. Ig the author got bored of the toxic guy too. Slay.
He's always been caring in his own twisted way. If you've skipped chapters, that's on you. But this is all still in character of JK and the author has done a great job approaching his development slowly and carefully. She's improved a lot since BJ Alex, and it's upsetting as a fan of her work to see comments like this dismiss her improvement.
Actually such a sweet story, maybe I'm biased cuz it gives me so much nostalgia of the first time I read it. It has still not changed as my favourite. Kinda cliche but really well nuanced.
