Even if a human has the Divine Throne, they can get killed thus still being a chance a Ancient God King reappearing. He should be getting stronger to dominate the Devouring Dragon since she's a bigger threat for being unpredictable.

Dragon can be understood as "best". Dragon is thus used for someone who is considered the best at something. So poisonous dragon = best at poisons. It is often used for the younger generation since they haven't properly established themselves yet. Flying dragon = a very promising new martial artist that is the best a flying within his generation. Once he is older he will likely get a new title that refers to either a defining event or defining feature/skill.
I wish they would put more effort into him leveling up instead of all the political drama that started after the religious mission. This is genuinely disgusting. The whole glow-up went down the drain as soon as each girl apologized and told him they love him.
