I liked the plot, could binge it, but honestly the red head is annoying me already, then I see a comment saying he’ll be arranged to her in the future. Some ppl are saying there’s no harem (since it is a one sided crush to the mc) but they fail to clarify that there are A TON of female appearances.
Story is good, just not MY cup of tea sadly
I feel like the comments that are saying they did not understand the story just isn’t that informed of this side of vampiric stories. Although it is fas paced, the details are actually very common in stories like this (though i feel the manga Vampire Knights was the actual reference for the trait structure)
noble vampires, turning humans to vampires, transferring power etc. shouldnt be too hard to understand.
I read this as a manhwa first then switched to the novel around chapter 20. Read it from the beginning to see the left out details, and comparing the manhwa after the novel is so odd to me. The artist used the tones of the colors well to depict softness and a fluffy atmosphere, whereas everything from chapter 25 to now was depicted as the MC only ever feeling anxiety and terror in the novel. It’s just weird because if I didn’t read it recently, I would’ve thought the manhwa was a different story with the same plot. still good tho, just not as dark as it shouldve been delivered
This is just the middle part of the novel. He will still have escape attempts, but that is it. He’ll eventually fall for ML (even more than now) as this genre revolves around Stockholm Syndrome disguised as dark romance.
opinion: its really a story thats already to be expected like the gwangjo complex series, but the novel is surprisingly a good read. Give this a chance if you really like this genre

Guys the novel is of course the more detailed version than this. They skipped A LOT, I guess they are trying to squeeze in only the major details, or else for 5 chapters or more it would’ve just been about MCs trauma and the craziness when he saw his uncle for the first time in the mountains. It just doesn’t make sense anymore because the key details that build up the major scenes are missing
can u explain how the plot was meant to be, what was missed, and how the ending is like?
i had to do a quick back read since I have gold fish memory. Some parts from early on would be fine without the other details Ig, but the ones starting from when he tried to escape, the coat rack that scared him and the uncles beast-like behavior had more details in the novel. It was showing the readers just how difficult MCs life was. It’s like what you’re reading is just the base line of how traumatic life was for the MC, while in the novel you could feel exactly the delirium he was having. It also showed how much of a scum his uncle really was, he just got beat up for a bit in here but in the novel he did a number of bruises on MC thats why ML was so pissed off
so this manhwa is really just poorly written...
Hi! Will you please give me the link of the novel? Thank you.
