IMO, the gates showed how he can use his power. Having foreign substance invaded his growth system, it might end up making him more adaptive in combat against the new enemy. So he can be extremely versatile in his combat potential that we get to see a bit in the last fight against Minsung.
This author is incredible, I thought how he's been using the bond abilities was quite clunky, how I cannot wait to see how hell fight in the future.
On another note it's so cool to watch the anime right now and see how all the characters was then and how their roles in the current story has changed due to being on a different timeline. Again, this author is awesome.
This is a super dark manga disguising itself as light hearted...
Denji just tryna live out in peace and sheits kept piling on him. I want him to have a happy ending and a "happy ending" as well.
I really felt he was mega sus, but after what happened in the last chapter he actually wasn't that bad of a dude despite of radiating sus vibes
