the main couple had good development, in my opinion. I think they should have developed the side couple better

Jake is working for the CIA, undercover. The goal of his current operation is to take down drug gangs and cartels, mostly dealing in drugs. Jake is undercover as a high-ranking gang member with a gang known as The Mercifuls. Benille (guy that likes to dress sharp and who just had a gun laster-sight pointed at his chest) is an underboss in the gang.

Jake suspects someone has been trying to sabotage the operation, which first happened at the time he first met Shin (someone disabled his car, and then Shin “fixed” it, but Shin ended up also disabling Jake’s car trying to scam him). The last sabotage that happened was in the junkyard where several gang members were wiped out, with Jake, Shin, and Ross almost losing their lives. Jake now knows that the sabotage is comng from INSIDE the CIA. DIrector Rolfe’s (pretty dark-skinned lady) life is also in danger, so Jake and Shin have secretly teamed up with her.

It appears the bad guys in the CIA just made contact with Benille, telling him to take Jake out at the next Royal Roader event (casino owned by Ross). If he does, they’ll wipe his record, and give him a new name. If not, they threatened to kill Benille. Benille has always been suspious of Jake, so he had no problem agreeing. Jake purposely fanned that suspicion, so it shouldn’t be a big surprise when Benille makes a move to take him out. The CIA baddies also met with Senator Connor (in his car just now) and want him to go to RR event, and make a big deal out of shaking Ross’s hand. Previously, they told Connor to stay away from Ross because of publicity surrounding Ross’s drug dealings. This whole set-up is suspious, IMO. The CIA baddies might be planning to take EVERYONE out- Jake, Benille, Ross, and Senator Connor.
