Unpopular opinion, I know, but I love this endgame and I'm here for it.
If you look back on it, it was always about Ian and TJ. As much as I loved Jo, he always felt like he was the one who would break the cycle, and he did in his own way. Ian and TJ were stuck in this toxic cycle and couldn't get out of it despite their obvious love for each other. Not a butterfly-kind-of-love but one that's viceral and impossible to escape. Jo was the outsider who forced both of them to face the final crossroad. TJ thought that he wanted the gang and Ian thought that he wanted a peaceful and normal life. But when both of them came face to face with what they thought they always wanted, they both realized that what they truly wanted was each other. And Jo was the one who made them see that.
Was is messy ? Yes. Was TJ an absolute ass? Of course. Do I feel for Joe and wish him all the happiness in the world with a stable and decent guy ? Absolutely. Nevertheless, I truly think that this was one hell of a good story (the only love triangle I enjoyed in fact) and I especially loved the rawness of it all. Can't wait for the spicy reunion hehe
This story is so toxic I can't even gaslight myself into thinking that there's something worth reading in it anymore. Started real slow and somewhat interesting - psycho ml that could have a redemption - but now it's dead and gone for good. Nothing in this world is worth spending one more second witnessing this sorry ass attempt at writhing a ''dark'' story.

And that's how he met your daddy
