Well, she's big enough to wander the streets alone during a rainy day, right? She went there looking for his brother so i think she won't get lost. And how far could a girl outrun a guy? They couldn't have gone too far away from the kid. Moreover, it's Japan so i guess it'd be safe. Also, it's rush hour...many students are on their way from school so maybe its fine...but yeah... being a little protective myself, i was for a moment worried too... :)
