No, not at all.

He treated his brother as his property. He didn't love him, he owned him. AFO is greed and selfishness incarnated. Thus, ALL. FOR. ONE.

Honestly, AFO is a terrible and cliche villain, but, I think that's the point. He even calls himself "maou" or Demon King, because he knows he is a cliche.

Tomura on the other hand is a sympathetic villain. Not in the way that you can forgive his actions, but that you can understand him. He is somewhat relatable.

We see Izuku trying to save Tomura, but not AFO. AFO is not redeemable because the cliche villain is evil for evils sake and can never be redeemed.

But Tomura is worth saving because he wants to be saved and that's all he ever wanted. Maybe he can never truly be redeemed, but that's okay.

Um, end rant.

TLDR; AFO is not a brocon. He's an asshole.

But you know, I have read so many Pscho-obsessive-crazy chara, and the way they show their crazyness with the person(property) they have much more direct, like cutting their limb, bind them completely by chain, or make them 100% dependable towards them. But why AFO don't do that? Did he really think that was unnessecary?

It's kind of funny how he simply lost his little brother to the second user right before his own eyes, in his own house.

Somehow i just think that, Yes, AFO was a great villain, Demon King, Evil, etc.... but he is not crazy enough. In term of crazyness Dabi and Tomura much more notable. But yeah this is just my personal opinion.

I’m not sure if I understood what you were saying but I think AFO is one of the craziest people in Bnha. He may not show himself being inflicting but that just proves how much he plans for them to be depending on him- hence all fore ONE. He is a psychopath but more of a greedy sociopathic narcissist that uses manipulation and works from the shadows whilst still leaving his footprints to be known (prolly his desire to be seen and become the ruler over earth). Which is why I think he’s such a psychopath. Manipulation and attacking people through their mentality is much more effective and evil because once a person breaks their physical condition and physical abilities are almost equivalent to null.

Here is the thing: even people who are "crazy" can be sympathetic. You ask, "Why are they like this?" and there is almost always a reason, even if that reason is something like mental illness. But remember that mental illness is a broad spectrum.

Every member of the League of Villains has led a life that prepared them for who they became when entering the series. Each one of them has become neurodivergent.

The mangaka shows us their stories so we can sympathize with them and understand why they became this way. They weren't born with their so-called "evil". Certain conditions led to them being there.

It's just as the Joker said, "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy."

Seriously, look up the quote and read the entirety of what he says. It really sums up what I'm talking about. It's also the reason why he (the Joker) keeps coming up with fake origin stories. One bad day.

Tomura had his one bad day. Dabi had his one bad day.

But AFO? He never did. Right from the womb he was evil. He isn't crazy. He's just written as a cliched evil-doer of a golden age comic book, with no rhyme or reason for his villainy other than being born as the avatar of greed. However, that is the point.

Take into consideration the devil as he is written in the Bible. Why is Lucifer evil? Lucifer is arrogant because he is the most beautiful, always at God's side and God's favorite. What led him to fall? God created humans and told the angels to bow before them, even though they are "inferior" beings. Humans also become God's favorite. Lucifer rebels and decides humans need to perish, but also that God must be dethroned. Lucifer is defeated and cast into hell.

So, why did the devil fall? Maybe God shouldn't show favoritism and love all his creations equally. Maybe God shouldn't show weakness by needing someone at either side him. Maybe humans shouldn't be bowed to but instead seen as the "little sibling" and be protected by the "older siblings"?

In the Bible (we aren't considering the Torah or Qaran in this case), there's a reason. You can sympathize. Ever had a younger sibling that stole all your parents love and attention from you whereas before you were the center of their universe?

So, why does AFO obsess over his brother?

Because he is greedy. His brother belongs to him.

Why does a yandere character obsess and take possession of someone? Because something caused them to lose trust in people, then they find someone they want to possess but cannot trust other people. Most often, they can't trust the person they obsess over either. It's about control and also, from a place of hurt.

That's why there are so many people who like reading about yanderes. They know, most often without thinking, that the crazy, obsessive person has some form of hurt and that maybe the person that they're obsessing over can help them.

Of course, in the real world, that isn't how it works and those types of people need psychiatric help at the very least.

I have no reason to believe AFO would ever have benefited from therapy or antipsychotic drugs. That's not how he's written.

Actually, on reflecting on it, I don't think *all* of the League members are neurodivergent. I'm pretty sure Lizard Guy and Magic Mask Guy (sorry, I forgot their names) were neurotypical. Teleporting Gas Guy is brainwashed, so he doesn't fit the bill either. My bad. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
