I think Jaeha pushed it away so that it just went through or past his ear yk ... when he was in the Hospital it was just his ear bandaged not his head ....
ok i reread the scene and his hands dont even reach the gun before yujun pulls the trigger.. for it to have only shot thru his ear the gun would have had to be infront of him anyways, i think the writing got poor.. instead of killing him off they drag it, which is also why jaeha wasnt the true killer and why there’s suddenly a random second couple
If he had been hit in the head, he would have died (although there are rare cases where people survive Uke just shot poorly and broke his ear a bit.This is how the author led it

the official JP site still has the series marked as ongoing, chapter 39 is the most recent chapter tho. the author could be taking a hiatus rn, they sometimes do that.
