I want emo friends y'all. As an emo I don't understand why I don't have a single piercing fanatic friend. Not funny, at some point I even had an eyebrow piercing (it got infected) and I listen to metal/rock and emo music in general. Where are the baddies?!?!?

Im so used to my hair that I forgot it's dyed. It's a wannabe purple (dark red, I'm trying to reach purple) and I have weird earings. And I smoke, well smoking kinda new. But km in high school, I can't have a tattoo and also Hella expensive
I'm pretty edgy but I only have normal friends. I mean they weird as shit but they aint emo. Tbh I ain't that mad about it cuz I'm doing fine but why am I not attracting emos. It's weird to me
Idk how popular emo is anymore, maybe that’s why? I’ve always been more into the metal community and don’t know a ton about the emo community. When I was growing up (2000’s) it was very popular lol and now it’s not much at all.. the goth/metal community still going hard though. It’s great.
Tbh most emos now listen to rap (like Kendrick Lamar) and scene core. In general more normal stuff. But by emo I'm being generous. I mean in general alt people. In my school we have like 25 emo people who u can tell are emo by their looks (most just dress a little alt and we have one actual like actual goth). But I'm not friends with any of them. I do know like 8 of them but only 1 of the 8 is actually cool and fun the other are cringe and judgemental lol.
