If you love your kid so much until they come out to you...its just that you aren't willing to understand them. I remember seeing a video of a person a father in particular POC father talking into their gay son wedding giving a speech about how he was homophobic and unwilling to accept that his kid is gay trying to find a "cure " for his homosexuality only to think to himself "did i love him less before he came out to me?"...for him to realize even if he did not accepted that he was gay he asked himself did he hated his child even if he came out to him...which his answer was "no" because he is a good kid grown to be a great man and even after that he loved his son learning that he needed to understand him even if he liked men because he didn't love his son less before he came out neither after he came out. This shows how can a parent can grow and understand as well love their kids even if society tells them that their way of living is against any social norm. For Yeoreums mom (mb if I mispelled) i get that they see homosexuality as weird ](bc society) but for a kid like him being a well behaved kid good at anything (bc he put all effort ofc), why would they not be willing to understand him and its frustrating because he's a good kid who grew a good person.
